Angela Farina is a civil engineer working as a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Michigan State University, where she also earned her Ph.D. with a thesis on the mechanical and environmental investigation of asphalt mixtures modified with crumb rubber from end-of-life tires. Her research interests encompass the circular economy of recycled materials in the built environment, life cycle assessment, low-carbon transportation materials, and the environmental characterization of materials in civil engineering applications.
