Nripojyoti Biswas is an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML). His research focuses on geotechnical engineering, coastal hazards, and sustainable infrastructure systems, with particular emphasis on low-carbon construction materials, ground improvement techniques, and infrastructure resilience. Professor Biswas is actively engaged with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Geo-Institute, where he serves as a Secretary on the Sustainability in Geotechnical Engineering Committee. He is also a serving as a member for the Standing Committee on Geomaterials Behavior and Properties (AKH19).
