Dr. Haider possesses extensive expertise in applying advanced statistical and probabilistic methods to transportation infrastructure research and design. His work includes developing and calibrating mechanistic-empirical pavement performance models using large-scale datasets such as LTPP and state PMS databases, employing techniques like maximum likelihood estimation, bootstrapping, and Monte Carlo simulations to improve prediction accuracy. He has led numerous projects involving statistical quality assurance for pavement construction, life-cycle cost analysis, pavement management applications, and reliability-based design, integrating uncertainty quantification into decision-making frameworks. Dr. Haider has also conducted rigorous experimental design and data analysis for field and laboratory studies, including regression modeling, hypothesis testing, and probabilistic simulations to evaluate material properties and structural performance. His contributions extend to authoring peer-reviewed publications on statistical modeling of pavement distress, performance-related specifications, and stochastic modeling of traffic loading. Additionally, his teaching portfolio includes courses on probability, statistics, risk analysis, and reliability methods, demonstrating his ability to translate complex statistical concepts into practical engineering applications
