Rajrup Mitra (he/him/his)

Rajrup Mitra is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Engineering at Iowa State University, co-advised with Dr. Halil Ceylan. He earned his Master of Science (thesis) in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, USA, and his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, India. Rajrup previously worked as a Systems Engineer at TATA Consultancy Services Limited, focusing on database management and PeopleSoft Financials ERP in India. His research interests encompass deep learning, CUDA-enabled AI processing, cyber-physical systems, unmanned aerial systems (UASs), computer vision, generative AI, image processing, software development, semiconductor physics, and device modeling and simulation. Currently, his research is focused on pavement inspections using deep learning, generative AI, and UASs.
