Mr. Rodriguez is a Transportation Planner with a wide array of experiences in project development, management and implementation. He develop through use of network models long-range traffic volume forecasts for projects ranging from intersection and bridge improvements to planned expanded and new expressway systems. He provides traffic data to internal and external parties for use in project programming, implementation and long-range planning. Perform scenario-based modeling simulation (EMME2, GIS) for specific projects and also conduct period QA/QC.
He manages Summer Field Data Collection - responsible for 3 college interns and their execution of data collection assignments for both motorized (car, truck) and non-motorized (bicycle/pedestrian)traffic at specified locations. Field Data Collectors also collect for analysis purposes non-movement performance measure attributes such as signal performance, queue and delay monitoring, streetscape features, parking behavior.
