Kunle S. Oguntoye is a PhD candidate in Intelligent Infrastructure Engineering (IIE), with a graduate minor in Computer Science, at Iowa State University (ISU). He earned his Master of Science degree in IIE from ISU, where his research focused on applying artificial intelligence to the remote sensing of underground utilities. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he conducted research on finite element modeling of multi-layer pavement structures. Building on his civil engineering background, Kunleās doctoral research integrates machine learning, small unmanned aerial systems, large language models, digital twins, and infrastructure engineering to develop advanced, practical frameworks for infrastructure monitoring and sustainability.
