Dr. Caitlin Tibbetts is a Research Civil Engineer in the Airfields and Pavements branch at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Florida on the evaluation of transport properties in Portland cement systems incorporating supplementary cementitious materials with a focus on durability and sustainability. Dr. Tibbetts conducts research in the field of concrete airfields and pavements with a focus on military applications. Her current research focuses on utilizing marginal aggregates in paving, evaluating NDT devices for QC testing, and revising mixture design requirements while meeting performance criteria for concrete pavements.
