Mr. Carruth has been a research civil engineer in the airfields and pavements branch of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center for 15 years, executing multiple research projects in the areas of airfield damage repair, airfield rehabilitation, soil stabilization, rapid-setting repair materials, and volumetric concrete mixing equipment. He is also a Governor of ASCE Region 5 and a member of the Airfield Pavement Committee.
